The advantage is that the list can be created in a very straightforward manner. □ Note: If you use a comma and space to delimit your list items, Excel will remove the leading space from each item in your dropdown. ![]() Click the arrow, and your list will now show as separate items based on the comma delimiters that you entered. Your selected cell will now have a dropdown arrow to the right of it. □ Note: Keep the In-cell dropdown option checked as this is what will create the dropdown. Click OK button to create your dropdown list.In the Source input box, enter your delimited list using commas as the delimiter between items. ![]() Go to the Settings tab and select List from the Allow dropdown.
